Submitting an application for conversion

Dear convert,

We congratulate you on the important and courageous decision to go through the conversion process, and to join the people of Israel. You probably know that this is a weighty decision, from which there is no going back. The procedure itself is not simple, and it requires from you significant demands of change in lifestyle, belief and commitment to the commandments of Judaism and its customs. Admittedly, the main point is the clear decision to join the people of Israel and to be an integral part of it and of the commitment it has made at Mount Sinai.

But this decision should have a practical expression, and the court wants to see that you strive for it, and very much want to connect with the people of Israel. But once you have made a final and clear decision, we are committed to assisting you, going through the procedure in a good and successful manner.

The purpose of the booklet available for download below is to arrange for you the initial and fundamental details that you must know and observe, which are the main points of Judaism. However, know that this is only the beginning and you must continue to learn more and more and receive guidance and guidance, in order to become familiar with all the many details of the commandments imposed on a member of the Jewish people, and we have already discussed this at length in the booklet. Conversion itself is not the end of the road, but is only the beginning of a new path.

blessing and success,
